If you know of Mexican design then surely you’ve heard of Hector Esrawe, who for several years has positioned himself as one of the most recognized creatives, nationally and internationally. His work is consistent and of high quality, whether it is a house, a hotel or restaurant. This time I present one of its residential projects, where he took over the interior design and furniture. It is called La Fontaine and it is an apartment located in Mexico City. It is cozy, functional and has the necessary space for the customer’s necessities. Although the lines that comprise it are subtle, we can also find riskier and fun forms in lamps and chairs. The wooden floor was used to cover the largest area of the apartment, while the doors and walls of the place were finished in gray lacquer, with marble in the master bathroom and quarry in the secondary. The furniture is a mix of walnut tones with colored lacquer. Most of the furniture was custom designed, and that makes it much more functional and customized for the client. Did you like La Fontaine? Well, this is just a taste of the great work of Mexican industrial designer Hector Esrawe.
