Mango & Turmeric Smoothie

  • 1 cup almond milk unflavored
  • 1 large ripe banana (frozen preferred)
  • 1 large orange such as a navel orange with the rind removed
  • 1/2 inch peeled fresh turmeric or about 1/4-1/2 tbsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp black pepper powder
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks

Directions: Add ingredients to a high-speed blender starting with the liquid and soft ingredients and finally adding the frozen (hard) mango chunks for at least 1 min.

Green Smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2 handfuls fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or plain Greek yogurt)
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds

Directions: Add the ingredients to a high-speed blender starting with the liquid & soft ingredients and finally adding the frozen (hard) pineapple chunks and ginger for at least 1 min.

Magic Immune-Boosting Smoothie

  • 1 cup greens (rotate between a few, but mostly spinach and kale)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1 kiwi, peeled
  • 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup water, add more if needed to blend

Directions: Add the ingredients to a high-speed blender starting with the liquid & soft ingredients and finally adding the frozen (hard) pineapple chunks and frozen mixed berries for at least 1 min.

Carrot Ginger Turmeric Shot

  • 1 large ripe frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh ginger peeled
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 pieces carrot juice
  • 1/2 piece lemon juice

Directions: In a juicier put about 4 full pieces of carrot, ½ lemon and the ginger into a juice mixer. Add the frozen pineapple and banana to a high-speed blender and blend with the carrot juice and the powders for 1 min.
