Moonwalk in Milos… After a wonderful three days in Santorini, I hopped onto a ferry and headed for the neighboring island of Milos, where I spent another three days. If you are a nature lover like myself, Milos is your JAM. I was beyond excited to explore this little island's dramatic moonscape-like landscape – I went on little sailing adventure, swam in the insanely beautiful waters, and hiked a little albeit poorly guided by google maps ? I also visited a couple of the cutest villages on the island that completely stole my heart. I truly loved and enjoyed the more relaxed and laid back vibe of the island. That said, if you ever visit Santorini or the Aegean part of Greece in general, I highly recommend including Milos in your plans – June through September are perfect for swimming. Oh, one fun fact about the island of Milos: I'm sure most if not all of you have heard of "Venus de Milo", one of the most iconic and well known art pieces from Ancient Greek civilization.
