The adults-only Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort in Cabo San Lucas is hosting the Life Luxe Jazz concert series November 1-4 with Grammy-winning artists, a sunset cruise and more.
“Life Luxe Jazz is a premier luxury cultural experience with jazz as the focal point, bringing people together with common interests in music, culture, and exceptional cuisine, with the goal of building bridges across borders,” say organizers from the non-profit organization.
The four-day concert series will kick off with an opening reception at Pacifica with soft jazz, a decadent buffet, Life Luxe Jazz signature cocktails and an open bar. There will also be an exclusive dance party at Pacifica’s Siempre restaurant and the surrounding oceanfront pool area.
The weekend will be highlighted by all-day concerts that will take place on the secluded beach in front of the resort. Guests will be able to curl up around large circular fire pits that have been carved out by the hotel’s staff and lit aglow during the evening and food and drink stations will serve up plenty of options. The festival will also feature a live jazz sunset cruise with a special menu, multiple bars and close-up views of Cabo’s iconic El Arco at Land’s End.
The star-studded lineup includes Grammy-winning contemporary jazz and R&B singer Norman Brown who’s sold nearly two million albums. Other artists include Mindi Abair, Bobby Caldwell, Darian Emory, Boney James, Michael Manson, Keiro Matsui, Maysa, Meli’sa Morgan, Najee, Gregory Porter, Ernest Quarles, Lin Rountree, Lindsey Webster, Kirk Whalum, and Zoe Wood.
And for those looking to get musical themselves, T.S. Monk, son of the legendary late jazz pianist Thelonius Monk, will host free music clinics for local children. Several other events will be scheduled for the residents of Cabo with the goal of introducing the jazz culture to Los Cabos’ youth.
Guests will be able to add on some more fun to the weekend by participating in the Life Luxe Jazz golf tournament at Quivira Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus-designed course that was recently named one of the “World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses” by Golf Digest. The events Ultra VIP option will include preferred tee times and green fees.
A variety of ticket packages will be available, including luxury open seating, exclusive cabana loungers and stage-front sectional sofa loungers. There will also be Elite VIP and Ultra VIP climate-controlled beachfront viewing areas in The Towers at Pacifica.
A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the Letty Coppel Foundation, which concentrates its philanthropy in several areas that benefit the Los Cabos community, including ecology, social assistance, and professional growth.
