Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at various resorts offering specials, events and more.
Thompson Playa del Carmen
Playa del Carmen
The Main House at Thompson Playa del Carmen is so primed for celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Mexico, they’ve even named their rooftop, poolside hot spot Cinco. Surrounded by two premium and five standard cabanas, the property’s meandering rooftop is the epicenter of the poolside revelry scene in Playa del Carmen. The infinity edge pool is flanked on each side by lively dining options, including the popular NYC-based restaurant concept – CATCH as well as Cinco. Featuring Playa’s best views from sunrise to sunset, Cinco offers casual dining and a swim-up bar, where guests can even enjoy Thompson Playa del Carmen’s very own tequila.
Marquis Los Cabos
San Jose del Cabo
Tequila lovers come together at Marquis Los Cabos to sip, savor, learn and cool off with their drink of choice this Cinco de Mayo. Guests have the option to opt for an in-depth tequila tasting experience, which explores the distillation process, classifications, provides tastings, a visit to the arch, and more. With over 85 brands of tequila on the menu, the resort also added a $1,000 Tequilas Premium Case Azul popsicle with gold flakes, to complete its dedicated spirit menu.
