Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita Announces New Dining Outlet Dos Catrinas

In Dine, Puerto Vallarta, Stay by Suzanne Koch

Dos Catrinas, a new dining and social space, will debut this December at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.

The new restaurant will replace the resort’s signature Ketsi restaurant and will feature a culturally-rich dining experience in a modern space. Named after one of the most powerful references in Mexican iconography La Catrina, the dual space will mirror the Mexican approach to life, death and the celebration of new beginnings.

The new 5,383-square-foot two-story concept will be designed by Colombian architect Saul Sasson and will feature stunning ocean views. The first level will be home to the main restaurant and bar while the second level will offer up a lively area with a second bar and lounge area, perfect for kicking back after dinner.

Design elements will include locally inspired elements like copper lamps, black clay, huanacaxtle wood and locally woven textiles. All furniture, construction materials and accessories will also be sourced locally.

“Riviera Nayarit has long been an oasis for travellers in search of a luxury seaside escape seasoned with authentic cultural experiences,” says John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita. “Dos Catrinas is the perfect marriage of Mexico’s rich history and modern regional cuisine served in Punta Mita today, and we look forward to offering a magical new culinary experience for our guests.”
